OVERVIEW OF PLANNING DIVISION
The Planning Division is responsible for assisting the City Council, Planning Commission and the Development Review Committee in establishing land use policies and plans and subsequently implementing them.
The City's land use policies and plans are intended to help insure orderly growth and development, including but not limited to adequate infrastructure (streets, water, sewers, etc.) to serve the community now and into the foreseeable future.
The City's General Plan is the document containing the City's land use policy, and the City's specific plans and Zoning Code are implementation tools. All land use related applications and entitlements are processed through the Planning Division.
Development Activity Report
The Development Activity Report is a summary of "major" planning entitlement applications that are in process, or have been approved but have not completed construction.
Annexation Map and Summary Report The annexation summary outlines all annexations of new land which have occurred from the original City, dating back to 1952.
