OTHER PROGRAMS & SERVICES

Adopt-A-Street

Adopt-A-Street - Download BrochureThe Adopt-A-Street Program is a fun and worthwhile program that will give you, your company, school or organization recognition while saving taxpayer dollars. You can adopt a City street and beautify a part of Paso Robles in partnership with the City. This is a great way to promote community pride and goodwill within your organization, and among family and friends.

Adopting a street requires litter pickup on your designated street segment  at least once a month for one year. The City will provide safety gear, trash bags and trash pickup. For complete information about the program, download the Application Packet and Print a Brochure.

If adopting a street sounds like something you or your organization would like to get involved in, complete the application packet and return it to the City of Paso Robles, Streets Division, 1000 Spring Street, Paso Robles, CA 93446. If you have any questions about the program, contact Michael Hendry at 805-227-7239.

Christmas Tree Recycling

Paso Robles Waste Disposal will pick up undecorated trees at the curb on your regular service day for no additional charge. Visit www.prwaste.com/service/residential/#holiday-schedule for more information.

If you don't have green waste collection service, you can take your Christmas tree to any landfill or transfer station and it will be recycled. For locations go to www.iwma.com. Note that a fee will be charged at these facilities.

Deceased Animal Pickup

Deer  The City will remove dead deer on City streets/public property within the City limits. If you live in the City and there is a deer on the roadway or sidewalk, you can fill out an online Action Request Form or contact the Street Maintenance Division at (805) 237-3861.

Domestic Animals  The pick-up of deceased dogs and cats is performed by the County of San Luis Obispo Animal Services Department through an approved contract. Call County Animal Services at (805) 781-4400.

Note:  The City does not retrieve deceased animals from private property. If you have a deceased animal on your property there is useful information at wildlifeanimalcontrol.com/deadanimals, or contact a commercial pest control business - search online for "dead animal removal, SLO County."

Anyone who sees graffiti within the City is encouraged to report it promptly. Accurate descriptions and locations are appreciated. Please contact the City at any of the following:
