Our vision is, “To be the safest city and most trusted police department anywhere.” We take our vision seriously. In a proactive effort to prevent and solve crime, we decided to create a security camera registration and mapping (SCRAM) program to partner with our resident and business community. SCRAM is simply a mapping tool. You input camera location and best contact info. That’s it. We will not and CANNOT log in to your security camera system.
Completing this form and registering your camera(s) will only alert us to the presence of a camera at that location. Our goal is to build a database of known security camera locations so an investigator can make contact with the owner and ask permission to view their video in an attempt to identify a suspect or view suspicious activity.
IMPORTANT NOTE: ALL INFORMATION COLLECTED IN THE REGISTRATION PROCESS IS ONLY AVAILABLE TO EMPLOYEES OF THE PASO ROBLES POLICE DEPARTMENT AND IS FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY.
The Paso Robles Police Department may send you a SCRAM sticker decal in an effort to thank you for your participation. It is your option whether or not to display the decal in an identifiable place for crime deterrence and community partnership.
