Responsibilities

The Department of Administrative Services is responsible for a wide range of activities and functions that either directly serve the community or provide support to other city departments.

The Paso Robles Administrative Services Department provides timely and accurate services to the public and other departments within the City in a courteous and fiscally responsible manner.

City Payroll Services

Finance

Human Resources

The Human Resources Division provides coordination of the recruitment, selection, training, and evaluation of employees within the City of Paso Robles, along with service support to the entire work force through management of employee benefits and oversight of work environment and safety programs.

Information Technology Division provides support and expertise for Paso Robles City staff and elected officials. I.T. securely manages and coordinates the development and operation of the City of Paso Robles’s technology services with the goal of helping City staff utilize technology for efficiency and productivity as in-house, dedicated professionals. 

Public Funds Investments

Revenue Collection, including Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT)

For the privilege of occupancy in any hotel, each transient is subject to and shall pay a tax in the amount of 10% of the rent charged by the operator.
