In an ongoing effort to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus, the Paso Robles Senior Center is currently CLOSED. Senior Volunteer Services staff will be in the office from 9am-2pm, Monday through Friday.

The Food Bank is still coming the second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 10am. All food has been bagged so participants wait in a line of social distance and then pick up their bag.
Annual Resource Fair
The Paso Robles Senior Center in collaboration with the SLO County Food Bank and County of SLO Behavioral Health is pleased to announce the annual Resource Fair will be held as a drive through event.
The Resource Fair will take place at the Paso Robles Senior Center, 270 Scott Street, on February 23 from 9:00 AM-11:30 AM. The Food Bank will be at the Center with vegetables and a Disaster Food Kit. Each participant will receive a “goodie bag” that includes information about local resources with a handy Resource Guide, a sweet treat donated by 350 Cookie Company, as well as Valentines, hand sanitizers, stress balls, and more.
The Paso Robles Recreation Department will have their Recreation Department van there and will give out “Recreation Department Care Packages” to all attendees.
Come and get information about every service available in the North County from SLO County Behavioral Health through transportation and recreation services including information about free legal services as well as information about Medicare and volunteer opportunities in the North County.
Humana is donating a gift basket for our raffle and Mr. Pickles will be donating a $40.00 gift card. All participants will be entered to win these or one of the other gift baskets we are creating for this event.

For novices to savvy users, free computer assistance is offered on the Senior Center computers. Take advantage of these one-on-one tutoring sessions covering basic to advanced computer knowledge. Learn how to set up and connect to the Internet and exchange email and photos with your grandchildren if you like.

The Senior Center has two beautiful computers that are available for members to use daily, so come on in and take a trip on the information highway for free!
Legal Aide for Seniors
Senior Legal Services Project, a program of San Luis Obispo Legal Assistance Foundation, staffs an attorney once a month to provide free legal consultations to North County seniors, age 60+, on matters including housing, planning for incapacity, elder abuse and consumer concerns. To schedule an appointment, call 805-543-5140.
The library is open to all who enjoy reading a variety of books. There is an extensive selection in both paperback and hardcover; books are borrowed on the honor system. Borrowing a book is free and you're welcome to keep the book until you're done. Read at your leisure!

Medicare Counseling - HICAP
A HICAP volunteer is available to assist you with Medicare issues. To schedule an appointment call HICAP at 805-349-7935.

A hot lunch is served daily at 11:30 a.m. Suggested donation is $2.75 per meal. Menus are available at the Senior Center. Home delivery is also available. Two day advance reservation is required. For reservations call Marlene at 805-238-4831.
