The Creston Road project is made possible with funding from a Caltrans Sustainable Transportation Planning Grant. A consultant team has been selected to work closely with community members and the City to develop the plan.
A “Complete and Sustainable Streets Corridor Plan” will be developed through a robust public process that engages residents, property owners, school parents and children, businesses and others to explore ways to improve safety, access, and mobility for all types of travel (walking, bicycling, driving and riding the bus) and for people of all ages and abilities.
The purpose of the Local Roadway Safety Plan is to establish the framework and process for identifying, analyzing, and prioritizing roadway safety improvements on the City’s streets.
The City of Paso Robles, in cooperation with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) District 5, proposes to improve the existing at-grade, unsignalized Union Road/State Route 46 (SR-46) intersection, located approximately one mile east of Highway 101 in the northeastern portion of the City.
