Welcome to the Paso Robles Police Department Online Reporting System. If this is an Emergency please call 911. Using this online citizen police report system allows you to submit a report immediately and print a copy of the police report for free. 

Please confirm the following to find out if online citizen police report filing is right for you:

Filing a false police report is a crime. Anyone submitting a false police report may be prosecuted under California Penal Code section 148.5 PC. Filing a false police report is punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding six months, or by fine not exceeding $1,000, or by both.

The Reporting System is not available for Stolen Vehicles, Stolen License Plates, Financial Fraud, Identity Theft, or Residential & Commercial Burglaries. 

Upon completion of this report process you will:

  • See the words: "Your online police report has been submitted" showing that your police report is complete.
  • Be given a police report case number. 
  • Be able to print a copy of the police report to keep for your records.

  • All cases filed using the Citizens Online Police Reporting System will be reviewed.
  • Upon review, if further investigation of your case is needed, you may be contacted.

Auto BurglaryProperty is stolen from a motor vehicle
Community ActionAnything of concern that impacts the community
Crime TipUse to report information regarding any crime
Custody Order ViolationThe terms of a Custody Order are not being followed by one of the parties listed in the order.
FraudIntentional deception to gain access to information, services, items, or financial gains
Fraudulent Use of Credit/Debit CardA credit/debit card is used to make purchases without the authorization of the card holder
Harassing Phone CallUnwanted phone calls of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature
House Check Request FormA member of the Paso Robles Police Department or Community Volunteer Patrol will make extra patrols of your residence or place of business during your absence. All checks will be subject to availability of manpower. The Police Department or the Volunteer Patrol in no way assumes the responsibility for the security of your premises. Request must be completed at least 1 week in advance
Identity TheftObtaining someone else's personal identifying information and using it to obtain credit, goods or services.
Lost PropertyWhen property is missing or lost
Mail / Package TheftMail or packages taken from mailbox
Private Property Accident ReportA collision involving two or more vehicles without injuries
Non Criminal matters which the reporting person would like to document with the police. Any Actions that are of an odd or suspicious nature. Suspicious activities, persons, vehicles
TheftYour property is taken without your permission. This does not include someone physically taking something from your person
Theft from AutoProperty is stolen from a motor vehicle
VandalismThe act of changing, modifying or defacing public or private property
Vehicle VandalismVandalism and damage to a motor vehicle
