Be Well Paso Weekly ChallengeToday we begin the Be Well Paso Weekly Challenge! With stay at home orders keeping many of us indoors, we’re here to help you stay fit, productive, connected, and positive. 

We’ll start each day with some humor. Laughter is a good thing. Scientists tell us that laughter, humor and joy are an important part of life. Laughing lowers blood pressure, reduces stress hormones, and increases muscle flexion. It increases the circulation of antibodies in the blood stream and makes us more resistant to infection.

Yoga CoupleTo get you moving, we’ll start off easy with Recreation Services instructor Shelley Kelley’s Kitchen Sink Workout, but we promise it will get tougher as we move forward! 

We’ll end in mindfulness and gratitude. In positive psychology research, gratitude is strongly and consistently associated with greater happiness. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, and build strong relationships.
