The Library is open for quick Grab-and-Go service:
Vulnerable Populations: Monday-Saturday: 9:00-10:00 am
General Public: Monday-Friday: 10:00 am-7 pm; Saturday: 10:00 am-4 pm
Face coverings are required and patrons are asked to maintain physical distancing while in the library.
Visits are limited to 20-minutes (or less) once per day. Library users are encouraged to browse collections online in advance for materials they wish to take home.
Limited computer sessions are available for up to 20 minutes per user per day. Mobile printing and faxing are available.
In adherence to state and county COVID-19 safety guidelines:
Library staff is following guidelines to ensure safety by sanitizing work stations and common areas.
The number of people in the library at one time is limited.
Furnishings are unavailable for in-library reading or study and newspapers are unavailable for in-library usage.
All items in the library have been quarantined a minimum of four days (96 hours) before being checked in, shelved or delivered to patrons. However, given the nature of a shared library collection and the limited knowledge of the coronavirus, we are not able to guarantee the safety of shared library materials.
All events and classes will continue to take place online and the Friends of the Library Gift Shop will remain closed until further notice. Donations cannot be accepted at this time.
Curbside Service is available during open hours for those preferring to place holds and pick up their items in the parking lot. In addition, Paso Robles Library card holders are still encouraged to visit the library’s eLibrary and make use of all the digital resources. For those without a current library account wishing to access digital resources, eCards are available (for ages 13 and up) through the Black Gold Cooperative Library System.
