Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! The City Library is offering many classes and activities for children in March, 2019, including a birthday celebration for beloved author Dr. Seuss!
Families and children of all ages are invited to celebrate the birthday of beloved author Dr. Seuss and National Read Across America Day with an afternoon drop-in craft and a 'Seussian' scavenger hunt for prizes on Friday, March 1st from 2-5pm!
Teen Tech Week – Exploring Circuits
An opportunity to be creative with simple circuitry using Little Bits circuit kits (for teens, ages 14-17). Space is limited. Registration is required. Tuesday, March 5th, 4-5pm.
Lego Build
Come to the Library’s monthly LEGO Build in the Story Room and see if you’ve got what it takes to be a Master Builder. Monday, March 11th, 4-5pm.
Family Game Day
An afternoon of board games for families to try out and enjoy! We will provide the games and snacks; all you need to do is bring the family and have a fun afternoon enjoying each other. Friday, March 15th. 3-5pm.
Spring Drop-In Craft
Children, ages 4-13, come play with color diffusion and make a spring butterfly to hang in your window. This quick craft will only take a few minutes to make, but will make you look like a watercolor master! Drop in for spring fun! While supplies last. Tuesday, March 19th, 3-4pm.
Maker Monday - Optical Illusion Spinning Tops
This month, children 1st grade and older can learn to make optical illusion spinning tops! Monday, March 25th, at 4pm.
