This month’s Make It @ the Library! series event, on Saturday, March 2, 2019, 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 pm., is a cute appliqué spring scene designed by www.weefolkart.com.
Part hand-sewing and part embroidery, appliqué is decorative needlework in which pieces of fabric are sewn onto a larger piece of fabric to create a picture or pattern. It can be used in quilting, to create patches, or as frameable artwork.
