In April, Teens and Adults can Drop-in and Color, join a Book Group, Learn to Knit, and more!

Make It @ the Library! Spring Collage
Create a pretty Spring bouquet inspired by the book Cut Paper Pictures by Clover Robin. Cut, piece and layer scrapbook paper to fashion a floral display you will be happy to hang on your wall. All supplies and instruction are included. Space is limited. Registration is required. For ages 16+.  Saturday, April 6, 10:30 am-12:30 pm.

Learn to Knit!
Learn to knit knitting/crochet expert Tamara Nichols of Cambria’s Ball & Skein & More shop. Supplies and basic instruction provided. Those experienced in knitting are welcome to bring their projects and work on them as well. Registration is recommended. For ages 13+.  Saturday, April 6, from 200-4:00 pm. 

Drop in and Color!
This month, enjoy a relaxing and reenergizing evening coloring pictures based on haiku in honor of National Poetry Month. Coloring materials supplied, but avid colorists are welcome to bring their own projects if they prefer. Registration is not required. For ages 16+. Thursday, April 11, 6:00-8:00 pm. 

Celebrate National Poetry Month Drop In and Haiku! 
Create a three-lined, 5-7-5 syllable pattern non-rhyming poem in the style of Japanese poetry on card stock and embellish it using colored pencils, markers, etc. Then, give it to a friend or loved one to cherish. Wednesday, April 17, 2:00-5:00 pm.

Paso Robles Library Book Group Reads A Girl’s Guide to Missiles by Karen Piper.
Join the discussion on this nonfiction work described as, “A surreal and poignant coming of age on a secretive missile facility, and an incredible view of life in a town built for war.” Registration is not required. For ages 16+.  Thursday, April 18, 7:00-8:00 pm.

Understanding and Using Your iOS Device
Join this lively discussion and informative workshop with Assana Fard on using your iOS device including: Privacy, Security, Application Customization, and Folders and Organization. Please bring your device with you so you can follow along with Assana Ford’s step-by-step instructions to practice what you are learning. Space is limited. Registration is required. Thursday, April 25, 6:00-8:00 pm.

Learn to Crochet!

Table Top Game Day 
First played over 80 years ago, Scrabble is a great game for fans of crossword puzzles. If you are not feeling like much of a wordsmith, you can play any of the games owned by the library. Light refreshments will be provided. For ages 16+. Saturday, April 27, 1-4pm.

eBook Clinic with Patrick McCoy! Learn how to use your electronic devices. Appointments on Tuesdays, between 4:00-5:00 pm. and Saturday, April 20, 11:00-1:00. Registration is required. For ages 16+.
