Paso Robles Providing Alternatives to In-Person Services

In an effort to protect the health of the community and continue to provide services to the public, the City will continue to provide services via phone, email, and www.prcity.com as follows until public health guidelines change.

City Hall/City Annex Offices: City Hall (1000 Spring Street) and City Annex offices (821 Pine Street, Suite A) will be closed to in person transactions. Staff is available via telephone, email and by appointment if needed.

Community Development: The City Hall building is closed to the public. Building, Planning, and the City Engineer functions are fully operational with electronic submittals, approvals, credit card payments, and electronic permit issuance. Building, Grading, Encroachment and Fire Inspections: Fully operational via video inspection. Site visits available for limited situations. Inspection Line: 805-227-7222

Fire Stations: Fire & Emergency Services personnel will continue responding to emergency calls for service. Public access to fire stations, including station tours and ride-alongs, have been cancelled. If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911. Administrative inquiries can be made by calling (805) 227-7560.

Library: The Library is open for grab-and-go service. Library users are encouraged to browse online collections in advance for materials they wish to take home. Limited computer sessions will be available for up to 20 minutes per user per day. Wi-Fi is available outside of the Library on the North side of the building.  Mobile printing and faxing are available. All events and classes will continue to take place online. Donations cannot be accepted at this time and the Friends of the Library Gift Shop will remain closed. More info here.

Curbside library service will continue to be available for materials checkout. Items must be placed on hold prior to pickup. More information here.   Online digital collections are available 24/7 via the library website: www.prcity.com/library. Material currently checked out can be returned to the Library book drops located in the Library parking lot.

Hours:

     Vulnerable Populations: Monday-Saturday: 9:00-10:00 am

     General Public: Monday-Friday: 10:00 am-7 pm; Saturday: 10:00 am-4 pm

Starting on October 7th, the Library Study Center will be open once a week for Children’s Grab-and-Go Service.  Service will be limited to materials check out/check in.  The Library Study Center is located at 3600 Oak Street. Hours: Wednesdays, 12:30-2:30

Recreation Services/Centennial Park: Centennial Park pickleball, tennis, and basketball courts as well as Centennial Park outdoor restrooms are currently open with use of social distancing guidelines. Many recreation classes are being held outdoors with some classes moving back indoors in the coming weeks (all are following social distancing guidelines and recommended safety protocols). View all current recreation classes here.  At this time city playgrounds and fields are open for modified use while picnic/barbecue areas remain closed to reservations until further notice.
