PASO ROBLES, CA – June 9, 2020 Sponsored by the California State Library, California COVID Diaries is a statewide community history project that encourages Californians of all ages to share their experiences during the COVID-19 pandemic through creative expression. COVID Diaries can take many forms – an essay, a story or letter, a poem, a song, a photo or drawing, a painting, sculpture, a short film, a blog or social media post. The possibilities are limitless!
The Paso Robles City Library encourages community members to participate in the COVID Diaries Project by writing a Six-Word Memoir. Adult Services Librarian Karen Christiansen encourages the public to “choose six words that sum up your life during the COVID pandemic.” Contributions can be emailed to library@prcity.com throughout the summer (June 8 – August 28) and may appear on the library’s website or social media pages.
Library staff is on hand to answer account and reference inquiries Monday-Saturday, 10 am-5 pm. Call 805-237-3870 or email Library@prcity.com. Curbside delivery is available Monday-Saturday, 10-4. More information here.
