PASO ROBLES, CA – March 1, 2021 In honor of the Cuesta Book of the Year selection, The Honey Bus, the Paso Robles Library invites the public to a special edition of the Cookbook Club with The Fresh Honey Cookbook by Laurey Masterton. How does it work? Simply access the cookbook from the Library’s hoopla Digital collection, try a recipe or two, then attend the Zoom meetup on Thursday, April 8, at 7:00 p.m. to share successes (or challenges) with the recipes tried.
Indulge your sweet tooth all year long with honey's many seasonal flavors. With 84 recipes that highlight a different honey varietal for each month of the year, author Laurey Masterton showcases the versatility of this incomparable natural sweetener. Can’t find the specialty honeys used in the book? You can substitute almost any honey to make these recipes. Filled with bits of honey lore and beekeeping history, The Fresh Honey Cookbook kicks off the Library’s month of honey-themed classes and events. Space is limited. Registration is required for all participants to receive the ZOOM meetup information. For ages 16+.
At this time, the Library is open Monday-Saturday 9-10 for vulnerable populations; Monday-Friday 10-7 for the general public and Saturday 10-4 for the general public. Curbside service is also available. Call the library at 805-237-3870 or visit prcity.com/library and the Library Facebook and Instagram sites for updates.
