PASO ROBLES, CA, February 18, 2021 – The Paso Robles City Council is seeking community participation in its visioning and goal-setting workshop, which will be held on Saturday, February 20. The purpose of the workshop is to set budget priorities for the next fiscal budget and to get a feel for what residents would like the City Council to focus on post-pandemic.
The workshop will be held via Zoom and will include interactive sessions in the morning to gather input from residents to help inform City Council’s decisions in its afternoon session.
The community visioning session will begin at 9:00AM. The Council’s goal-setting workshop will begin at 1:00 and will be a public session. There will be a break between workshops at noon. In preparation for this workshop, the City conducted a survey to collect input on residents’ views of the quality of life, resident concerns and potential priorities for the City as it begins the budget development process that will culminate in June. Nearly 1,000 residents completed the survey, summary data from the survey will be presented at the community workshop and will be used to inform City Council decision-making for the next budget cycle.
