PASO ROBLES, CA—Table Top Game Day, designed for ages 16+, allows participants to try out trending board games or enjoy a beloved classic while meeting new friends.
On November 17, 1:00-4:00 p.m., thanks to generous funding from the Paso Robles Friends of the Library, the featured game is Terraforming Mars. The taming of the Red Planet has begun! Corporations are competing to transform Mars into a habitable planet by spending vast resources and using innovative technology to raise the temperature, create a breathable atmosphere, and make oceans of water. As terraforming progresses, more and more people will immigrate from Earth to live on the Red Planet. In Terraforming Mars, players control a corporation with a certain profile. Play project cards, build up production, place cities and green areas on the map, and race for milestones and awards!
Other new and classic games are also available. Light refreshments will be provided. For more information, please contact Karen Christiansen, 805-237-3870. Registration for this event is recommended. Register online using the library event calendar at http://www.prcity.com/246/Classes-Events
