The idea of transforming Railroad Street into a funky, railroad-themed brewery district arose during a series of 2016 Downtown Visioning sessions with the Main Street Association and City. Issues like additional parking, organized trash storage areas and new retail opportunities would also be addressed in the plan. The Visioning Group was intrigued by the possibilities and voted to fund a concept study that was prepared by Wallace Group.
The results of the Open House will be forwarded to Planning Commission and City Council for consideration of adoption of the Vision.
