Residents encouraged to give input on parklets, sidewalk cafés, etc.
PASO ROBLES, CA, March 15, 2022 – The City of Paso Robles is holding a public workshop on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 3-5 PM to discuss ideas for permanent outdoor dining options in Paso Robles. which may include parklets.
The workshop is being hosted by the Outdoor Dining Ad Hoc committee which was created in response to requests from residents and business owners to develop guidelines for permanent parklets, sidewalk cafes and patios.
Seventeen temporary parklets were installed during the pandemic to allow for safer dining and compliance with state and county distancing guidelines. Prior to the parklets coming down on February 1, 2022, the City Council created an ad hoc committee to discuss options and guidelines for permanent outdoor dining.
