Public Hearing for Olsen-ChandlerCity Council will be holding a Public Hearing on Thursday, February 20, 2020 to consider approval of the Olsen-South Chandler Ranch Specific Plan, consisting of 1,293 residential units ranging from single-family to multi-family, a Neighborhood Commercial Overlay District that would support up to 9,800 square feet of non-residential use, a potential school site and approximately 29,335 square feet of community amenities. Ballot Drop Box at City LibraryThe Paso Robles City Library currently has a safe, convenient receptacle for Vote-by-Mail ballots, located by the Circulation Desk. It will be in place until 8:00 PM on Election Night (November 3, 2020). To date, 55 primary election ballots have been dropped off. The library is located at 1000 Spring Street and has free parking in back.
When you drop in your ballot, be sure to get an "I Voted" sticker!

6-Year Street Repair Plan ApprovedOn February 4, 2020 Council approved a multi-year repair plan so residents and businesses can anticipate street work and utility companies can schedule work to ensure that trenching and other utility work is completed prior to major road work. The plan allocated approximately $6 million each year on major repairs, including supplemental sales tax, SB-1 funds and development impact fees. Details

New Advisory Body AppointeesOn February 12, 2020 the Paso Robles City Council interviewed 9 applicants for openings on the Planning Commission and Housing Authority. Roberta Jorgensen, Ty Christiansen and Field Gibson were appointed Planning Commissioners. The Housing Authority appointed Josh Cross to the one opening on their board of directors.
