Paso Robles Gateway Annexation

The City Council will consider the Gateway Annexation project at their teleconference meeting, Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 6:30 PM.  The 170-acre site is located northwest of the intersection of Highways 101 and 46W. 

The project would result in the development of two hotels, three commercial centers, a conference center, and up to 97 residential units.  South Vine Street would be realigned to connect with Theatre Drive.

Budget Adoption at City Council 

The COVID-19 pandemic has had significant negative impacts on the City’s revenues. This will impact the nature and scope of the services the City can offer. City Council will discuss the next steps in adopting the 2021 budget at their meeting on  Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 6:30 PM. The staff report and instructions on how to provide public comment at the Council meeting are available here.

Street Maintenance Projects around Union Road to Start June 15th

Road repairs are tentatively set to begin in the Riverglen neighborhood off of Union Road the week of June 15, 2020 and on Union Road from Creston to Kleck in early July. Motorists that use Union Road from Creston Road to Kleck Road should plan for traffic delays during construction. Details for affected residents

Polymer Clay Jewelry (virtual class)

Learn polymer clay basics to create a beautiful necklace and two pierced earrings during this craft from home class. You'll learn how to condition the clay, how to cut it, texturize it, proper baking and how to add color. Once the clay pieces are baked you will learn basic jewelry making techniques to assemble your pieces.  Pick-up your pre-ordered kit on Monday, June 22 between 6-7 p.m. at Centennial Park.  Instructor will provide a step-by-step video for crafting success. $10 registration + $35 kit/video fee. Many of our popular indoor classes have been redesigned to be outdoor classes that respect physical distancing and approved small group size.  Classes currently available include Pickleball, Zumba Gold, Line Dance, Total Body Workout, Karate, 50+ Yoga and Dog Training.  More are being added to our schedule weekly. Curbside Service Hours Extended

Beginning Monday, June 22, library patrons will be able to obtain library materials belonging to the Paso Robles City Library Monday-Friday, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm. and Saturday, 10:00 am-4:00 pm through its popular curbside pickup service. Step-by-step instructions on how to reserve items online and arrange for pickup are available on the library’s web page.
