You are receiving this email because you hold a current business license with the City of Paso Robles.
The City of Paso Robles is pleased to announce the launch of a new promotion to encourage Paso residents to support their local businesses.
The Paso Robles "Keep it Local" Gift Card Program is designed to generate additional sales revenue for local businesses and save residents money on local goods and services.
The program encourages locals to buy full-value gift cards or certificates from Paso Robles businesses at a 20% discount and the City will then reimburse the 20% discount amount back to participating businesses up to $1,000 per business, equating to $5,000 in additional sales revenue per business.
To participate in this initiative, follow these simple steps:
Step 1. Apply for the program HERE
Step 2. Eligible businesses will be notified and sent a Gift Card Sales Reporting Form
Step 3. Promote and sell your full-value gift cards or gift certificates at a 20% discount
Step 4. Submit to the City your completed Gift Card Sales Reporting Form
Step 5. City reimburses you for the 20% discount amount on your Gift Card Sales, up to a maximum reimbursement per business of $1,000 (equates to 20% on $5,000 in total sales)
The Paso Robles "Keep it Local" Gift Card Program begins next week and will continue until all the funds for the program have been disbursed. Participating businesses will be listed on the City’s website and promoted on the City’s social media channels, in press releases and in the City newsletter.
Participating businesses will be strongly encouraged to likewise promote the program to their own customer base, social media followers, and newsletter recipients, etc.
