Heart-shaped Heating Pad Craft

Registration deadline: February 12
ZOOM Meetup: Thursday, February 25
7:00-8:00 pm

In keeping with our February theme of Love & Romance, this month’s hand sewing project would make a lovely gift for your special loved one (but you may be tempted to keep it for yourself!). Using simple sewing techniques and cute Valentine-themed fabric similar to that in the picture, you will create a colorful and useful heating pad to let your loved one know how much they mean to you. Thanks to a generous donation from local doTERRA representative Taryn Mohler, you can also choose a scent (lavender, peppermint, or eucalyptus) to make this craft an extra special sensory experience. Space is limited. Registration is required for each participant to receive craft kits and information about the ZOOM meetup. For ages 16+.

Book Group Reads: A Princess in Theory by Alyssa Cole

ZOOM Meetup: Thursday, February 18, 7:00-8:00 pm
Between grad school and multiple jobs, Naledi Smith doesn't have time for fairy tales and a silly e-mail won't convince her otherwise. Prince Thabiso is the sole heir to the throne of Thesolo. Ever dutiful, he tracks down his missing betrothed and a flirty friendship quickly evolves into passionate nights. But when the truth is revealed, can a princess in theory become a princess ever after? This title is available from the library’s collection and also in eBook and audiobook formats through the hoopla Digital platform. Space is limited. Registration is required for each participant to receive ZOOM meetup information.  For ages 16+.
