SLO County Still in Red TierSan Luis Obispo County remains in the Red Tier. In order to move into the less restrictive Orange Tier, we need a case rate lower than 5.9% and positivity and health equity rates below 5.2% for two consecutive weeks. Residents can help SLO County move into the Orange Tier by following health guidelines, getting tested and by taking the COVID-19 vaccine. If metrics improve, we could potentially move to the Orange Tier by May 5. More details

Protecting Your Vaccination CardThe best way to protect one’s vaccination card from theft or loss is to make sure it is stored in a safe place at home. Residents should not carry their vaccination card with them in public unless attending their second dose appointment. Public Health officials do not advise laminating the card, as the heat may damage the card or cause the ink to be illegible. Anyone who loses their vaccination record card can request a new one at (805) 543-2444.
