Precision Manufacturing Boot CampThis eight-week boot camp will give local residents the opportunity to either upskill or enter a new career path through accelerated training. Gain essential skills like blueprint reading, precision measurement, lean principles and mechanical assembly. This course is in partnership with Cuesta College Engineering. Starts June 2021.

Workforce Development SupportJobNow and VetNow programs offer learning, career, and veteran support tools, such as resume and writing labs and an extensive list of resources, in addition to in-person support, such as live job coaching, live veteran benefits eligibility, and live tutoring. An Unemployment Benefits Navigator has recently been added to JobNow to assist patrons struggling to file for unemployment benefits. Find out more at the Paso Robles City Library.

Restaurant Revitalization FundThis program provides emergency assistance for eligible restaurants, bars, food trucks, bakeries, tasting rooms, wineries, breweries, and other qualifying businesses impacted by COVID-19. SBA began accepting applications via the application portal on May 03. The application portal will remain open to any eligible establishment until all funds are exhausted. Emergency Broadband BenefitBeginning on May 12, low-income households will be able to start applying for the Emergency Broadband Benefit program to get online. The program provides $3.2 billion to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to provide a $50 monthly discount on in-home broadband service for eligible households, as well as a one-time $100 discount on a laptop, desktop, or tablet computer for those same qualifying households.

"Keep It Local" Gift Card ProgramThe "Keep It Local" gift card program is now scheduled to continue until June 15, 2021, to coincide with the potential re-opening of the state’s economy. This program is designed to generate sales revenue for local businesses and save residents money. Over 75 local businesses are participating in the campaign offering 20% discounts on full-value gift cards and certificates for a wide range of goods and services.
