City Hall & Annex Reopening 

On June 1, Paso Robles City Hall at 1000 Spring Street and the City Hall Annex at 821 Pine Street will reopen to the public for walk-in services, masks will be required. Public counter hours will be  Monday-Thursday from 10am-12pm, 1pm-3pm. Community Development Permitting processes will remain paperless. Please contact Community Development with any questions at 805.237.3850 or building@prcity.com.

No Change in Mask Guidance

Following recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance related to masking for fully vaccinated people, the County of San Luis Obispo reminds residents and visitors that the State of California’s updated Guidance for the Use of Face Coverings remains in effect in California, including San Luis Obispo County. Masks are still required indoors.

SLO County Still in Orange Tier

San Luis Obispo County is currently meeting the State’s metrics to remain in the Orange Tier of the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy, allowing for some additional business sectors and certain activities to resume. Local businesses must follow all State guidance for their industry. Governor Newsom has indicated that the pandemic emergency restrictions may be fully lifted on June 15.

"Keep It Local" Program Ending

Buy your local gift cards now!  The "Keep It Local" gift card program ends on June 15, to coincide with the potential re-opening of the state’s economy. This program is designed to generate sales revenue for local businesses and save residents money.  Over 75 local businesses are participating in the campaign offering 20% discounts on full-value gift cards and certificates for a wide range of goods and services.  See the participating businesses here.

Low-income households can now apply for the Emergency Broadband Benefit program to get online. The program provides $3.2 billion to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to provide a $50 monthly discount on in-home broadband service for eligible households, as well as a one-time $100 discount on a laptop, desktop, or tablet computer for those same qualifying households.

Eviction Protection

Californians facing financial hardship because of the COVID-19 pandemic will be protected from eviction through June 30 as long as they pay part of their rent under an emergency bill signed by the Governor on Friday, February  5.
