Jeanne Aird Quilts on Display in AprilThe art quilts of local resident Jeanne Aird will be on display in the Paso Robles City Library the month of April. Using such techniques as block printing, Japanese shibori, painting, bleaching, dyeing, hand-stitching, and embroidery, Aird captures the colors and textures of nature, including her own backyard. “The gnarly branches of the hundred-year-old oak trees and rolling hills provide me with images to re-create in some form or another,” states Aird.
