Loretta Easter on Display this Month

Local photographer Loretta Easter will display her artistic talent the month of August in the Library. Easter began taking photographs while in grammar school and finds beauty in interesting things on the Central Coast.
To be considered for display in 2023:
• Review the Guidelines for Selection of Art Displays
• Submit an Application (generally accepted July-August for the following year). 
• Email sample photographs or other representations of the work to Don Rader, drader@prcity.com

Summer Sampler

Beginning and intermediate crafters will enjoy creating this month’s summer-themed embroidery project from DMC. In keeping with our Summer Reading Program theme Read Beyond the Beaten Path, this project depicts a sampling of summer fruits, flowers, and friendly insects. Space is limited. Registration with Paso Robles City Library card is required for each participant. For ages 16+.

Paso Robles Library Book Group Reads: The Clover Girls by Viola Shipman

August 17, 6-7 pm

Library Conference Room

Elizabeth, Veronica, Rachel, and Emily met at Camp Birchwood as girls in 1985, where over four summers they were the Clover Girls—inseparable for those magical few weeks of freedom—until the last summer that pulled them apart. Perhaps some friendships aren’t meant to last forever . . . The title is available in the library catalog.

Space is limited. Registration is required for each participant. For ages 16+.

Mondays:  Animal Tales & Craft IN PERSON with Miss Frances, 2:30 pm, Story Room.
Space is limited so come early!
Tuesdays: Try It! kits available for pick-up to make at home (while supplies last)
Fridays: Toddler Story Time & Craft IN PERSON with Miss Cappy, 10:00 am, Story Room. Space is limited so come early!
