Paso Robles City Council Meeting Highlights
Special Joint Meeting of the City Council and Downtown Parking Advisory Commission
April 9, 2022

Highlights from the Special City Council meeting, held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, are as follows.

City Council and the Downtown Parking Advisory Commission (DPAC) received a presentation on potential options to update the Paid Parking Program.

After conducting a joint discussion with the DPAC and receiving public comment, the Paso Robles City Council voted 3-2 to maintain the current parking program, including the Senior Parking Permit program that was already approved; directed staff to explore funding for a parking structure which would include but not be restricted to Transient Occupancy Tax, tiered parking rates, a parking district, or a potential General Obligation Bond; and that the parking program be reviewed in six months.

The meeting recording is available at www.prcity.com/youtube.

The Downtown Parking Update presentation is available here.

The next regular City Council meeting is on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 6:30 pm, in person and via livestream at www.prcity.com/youtube.  Public comment can be made during the meeting in person or by calling 805-865-PASO (7276) or provided prior to the meeting by emailing cityclerk@prcity.com prior to noon the day of the meeting.
