City Council and the Downtown Parking Advisory Commission (DPAC) received a presentation on potential options to update the Paid Parking Program.
After conducting a joint discussion with the DPAC and receiving public comment, t
he Paso Robles City Council voted 3-2 to maintain the current parking program, including the Senior Parking Permit program that was already approved; directed staff to explore funding for a parking structure which would include but not be restricted to Transient Occupancy Tax, tiered parking rates, a parking district, or a potential General Obligation Bond; and that the parking program be reviewed in six months.
