New Planning CommissionersThe Paso Robles City Council has re-appointed sitting Planning Commissioner Ty Christensen back to the Paso Robles Planning Commission and appointed two new Planning Commissioners, Eric Marlow and Pat Connally. The Commissioners were appointed to 3-year terms at a special City Council meeting on February 16, 2023. The City Council interviewed five applicants to fill three open positions on the Planning Commission. More details

Downtown Parking UpdateOn February 21, 2023, the Paso Robles City Council approved updates to the downtown parking program which will take effect March 1, 2023, including: • 2 free hours of parking per day • Rate increase to $2 per hour • A new mobile app • Pay by text option More details

City Officials Meet With Members of Congress in Washington D.C.Mayor Pro Tem Hamon led a delegation of city officials to Washington D.C. to meet with elected representatives about potential infrastructure funding support for the much needed State Route 46 overcrossing at Airport Road in Paso Robles. City officials met with Representatives Panetta and Carbajal, and key staff for Senators Feinstein and Padilla, as well as for Speaker of the House McCarthy. Congressional District Office Coming to Paso RoblesCongressman Jimmy Panetta (D-Carmel Valley), the elected U.S. Representative for District 19, is opening a Congressional District Office in Paso Robles following congressional redistricting in 2022. Residents of Paso Robles and the surrounding area will have the opportunity to meet with Panetta and his staff at the new office located at the Paso Robles train station at 800 Pine Street beginning later this spring.

Paint & Lemonade Party: Lucky During this all-ages class, participants will be led step¬by-step through the process of painting gorgeous green rolling hills stretched beneath a colorful rainbow on canvas using acrylics. Preschool Story TimeWednesdays, 10:00 am Story Hour Room The Paso Robles City Library has returned to offering weekly in-person Preschool Story Time for ages 3-6 with Youth Services Librarian Melissa Bailey. Join her on Wednesdays for stories, movement, music, and a craft activity. Children can practice their listening and socialization skills while having lots of fun. Space is very limited so come early and secure your seat.

AARP Tax Aide will again provide free tax preparation and filing on Saturdays from February 4 through April 8 at the Paso Robles Senior Center.
