Special Meeting: HomelessnessPaso Robles City Council is convening a special meeting on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 6:30 PM to discuss homeless services prior to a grant deadline. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss community options, grants and multi-organization cooperation in order to increase services for the homeless in Paso Robles. Details

Public Workshop: District Map Building WorkshopThe City of Paso Robles is transitioning from the current at-large system of electing the City Council to a by-district election model. Residents are being asked to submit suggested boundary maps splitting the City into 4 districts. This workshop will help teach attendees how to use the map-building tools. Details

Short Term Rental Task Force MeetingOn February 19, 2019 the City Council requested that the Short-Term Rental Task Force review and update the draft ordinance created by the original task force and present their recommendation to the Planning Commission within 60 days. The first meeting of the reconvened task force is Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the City Council Chamber at 1000 Spring Street.

Downtown Parking Program UpdateMany thanks to the downtown businesses that are participating in the Downtown Employee Parking Permit Pilot Program. Their commitment to walking a couple of extra blocks is freeing up customer parking for locals Mon-Fri from 8-5. Here's how it's going so far.
Look for the "Proud Participant" flyer in windows downtown starting in February. This pilot program runs through the end of April. Details

Chief Lewis Receives Black BeltOn Saturday February 2nd, Paso Robles Police Department Chief Ty Lewis received the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, which is considered the most prestigious and challenging belt awarded in martial arts.
