Prepare for Fire Season

To prepare for the upcoming fire season, the Paso Robles Department of Emergency Services would like to remind residents and property owners about the City’s weed abatement program. Property within the City must have all weeds mowed, disced, or otherwise removed to lessen fire hazards. Please clear all combustible vegetation, including dead leaves, weeds, brush, and tree limbs no later than May 1, 2019.

Every school year the Kermit King Elementary Leadership class is led through a Mock City Council meeting by the Mayor to get their take on an issue facing the community. This year they will be joined by the Leadership class from Bauer Speck Elementary and together the groups will design Kickoff Parties to celebrate the City's change to by-district elections. Help Plan for Local Disasters

All residents of San Luis Obispo County are invited to help plan for local disasters. The county will be updating the Local Hazard Mitigation Plan and are requesting help from the public. The meeting will be held April 30 from 5:30 PM-7:30 PM at the Ludwick Center, 864 Santa Rosa Street, San Luis Obispo. For the first time, the plan will include all cities and jurisdictions throughout San Luis Obispo County and your input and participation are crucial to this process. Details
