For Families

Do you have what it takes to be a Master Builder. Each build will have a different theme and challenge to put your building abilities to the test. Those that complete the challenge will see their creations on display in the Library following the build.

Dino O'Dell's Out of this World: Songs and Stories from Space!

(free tickets required and available at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes prior to the start of the program.)

Tuesday, June 18, 10:30-11:30 am in the Georgia Brown Multipurpose Room (no tickets required.)
Join Dino O’Dell for an interactive music and storytelling show about outer space science, including a kid-friendly demonstration of gravity, a song about meteorites, and the story of Neil Armstrong! For families of all ages.

Teen Snack & Craft: Galaxy Tee

Paint a unique, festival-worthy tee with a cool swirly galaxy print. Space is limited. Registration is required. For ages 13-17.

This Month’s Maker Monday—Cloud Balls!

Monday, June 24, 4:00-5:00 pm
Make this sensory manipulative out of a mixture that will be similar to kinetic sand in texture, but will glow in the dark! For ages 7-12.

Toddler Storytime with Miss Cappy (18mos-3yrs), Fridays, 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Mother Goose on the Loose with Miss Carrie (0-18mos),Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
