SLO Symphony Notes in Class

Tuesday, July 2, 10:30 am in the Georgia Brown Multipurpose Room (no tickets required) or
2:00 pm at the City Library

(free tickets required and available at the Children’s Desk 30 minutes prior to the start of the program.) 

Children will be introduced to all of the instruments in the orchestra. Due to the length and content of this program, it is more suitable for children over the age of five, but all are welcome.

For Families

Do you have what it takes to be a Master Builder. Each build will have a different theme and challenge to put your building abilities to the test. Those that complete the challenge will see their creations on display in the Library following the build.

Learn To: Embroider a Constellation Hoop

Learn simple embroidery skills while creating a cool constellation hoop. Space is limited. Registration required. For ages 8-13.

Make this sensory manipulative out of a mixture that will be similar to kinetic sand in texture, but will glow in the dark! For ages 7-12.

Large-Group Story Time

Tuesday, July 30, 10:30 am

The Paso Robles City Library is pleased to introduce Large Group Story Time—especially designed for preschool and daycare groups, ages 3-6—the last Tuesday of the month. The program will include songs, stories, and motor skill development exercises and will run about 40 minutes. Groups must come with a ratio of one adult for every eight children. Space is limited. Registration is required.  Multiple groups will be accepted until room capacity is reached.

Pre-school Storytime with Miss Melissa (3-6yrs), Mondays, 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Grade-School Storytime with Miss Frances (1st-5th grades), Wednesdays, starting at 2:30 p.m.

Mother Goose on the Loose with Miss Carrie (0-18mos),Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Toddler Storytime with Miss Cappy (18mos-3yrs), Fridays, 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.

Large-Group Storytime (3-6yrs), last Tuesday of the month,10:00 am (registration required)
