Paid Parking Launched August 14Pay stations have been installed downtown and paid parking began on August 14. The paid parking program, and employee permit program, were designed to support small local business while encouraging more residents to come downtown Monday-Friday from 9AM-6PM. FAQsThe first two hours of parking are free, drivers must enter their license plate number to receive free parking.

Groundwater Sustainability PlanThe City of Paso Robles Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) is pleased to announce that the Draft Groundwater Sustainability Plan has been completed and is available for public review and comment. This Plan will ensure that the Paso Robles Subbasin achieves sustainability by 2040. The Final Plan must be submitted to the State by January 2020. The Plan has been developed by four GSAs over the past year, with significant public outreach and public input. The Draft Plan can be found at: www.pasogcp.com

Short-Term Rental OrdinanceCity Council adopted a Short-Term Rental Ordinance and Resolution that allows but limits the number of home-share and vacation rentals in the City; institutes requirements for vacation rental owners to pay transient occupancy taxes, obtain business licenses, abide by occupancy limits and parking requirements, and comply with “Good Neighbor” guidelines. It also establishes a complaint hotline to address neighborhood concerns, and requires Council to review the status of the industry in one year and two years from now and specifies that the ordinance will expire if not modified or replaced in three years. Public Hearing: Noise OrdinanceThe City of Paso Robles Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on August 27, 2019 at 6:30 P.M. to consider making a recommendation to the City Council regarding an update to the General Plan Noise Element and proposed Noise Ordinance. This will be the fourth time the Planning Commission will meet on the noise element after a series of public workshops which were held during the last year. More details

Large-Group Story TimeTuesday, August 27, 10:00 am Large Group Story Time has been designed especially for preschool and daycare groups. Held the last Tuesday of the month at 10:00 am, the program includes songs, stories, and motor skill development exercises and runs about 40 minutes.
