Paid Parking UpdateResidents and merchants have reported that there is a large increase in the amount of parking available downtown since the launch of paid parking on August 14.
The paid parking program applies Monday-Friday from 9AM-6PM. More details The first two hours of parking are free, drivers must enter their license plate number in one of the 34 kiosks downtown or in the WayToPark app to receive free parking. Download app

Spring Street Parking Lot RepairRepairs are under way at the parking lot at the southwest corner of 13th and Spring Street. Repairs include: replacing old asphalt, replacing invasive trees, refurbishing landscaping and irrigation, replacing cracked and lifted medians, and bringing the accessible parking spaces and path up to current standards. Drainage upgrades are also included to help protect the new pavement from water damage. Estimated completion date of November, weather permitting.

Library Study Center Celebrates New and Improved ServicesThe Library Study Center at 3600 Oak Street celebrated its Grand Reopening on August 19. Thanks to many generous donors, new features include: • Now Open Monday - Friday • Now a Fully-Circulating Children’s Library • Now Issuing Library Cards

New Deputy City Clerk Sworn InOn August 22nd, the Paso Robles City Manager's Office welcomed the City's new Deputy City Clerk, Melissa Martin. Melissa has worked for the City since September of 2016, where she began as a temporary employee then hired as a full time Utility Billing Clerk in 2017. Melissa is originally from Upstate New York and has lived in Paso Robles since 1998. She is excited to take on this new role and is looking forward to serving the community as Deputy City Clerk.

New Records Clerk Sworn InOn August 28th, the Paso Robles Police Department welcomed its newest Records Clerk, Denise Cameron, to the team. Denise joins Record Clerk Andrea Fletes, Records Cadet Sandy Heiskill and Records/Dispatch Supervisor Mary Sponhaltz to the Records Management team. Denise is originally from San Jose and moved to Paso Robles in 2012, where she currently lives with her husband and daughter. Welcome to the PRPD family!
