Following the closure of the bid submittal period, bids will be publicly opened and read for performing work as follows:
Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all work necessary and incidental to the construction of the project known as AIRPORT TERMINAL PATIO COVER, DPW PROJECT NO. 19-03 according to drawings and specifications prepared by the City of El Paso de Robles and according to the Contract Documents. The project generally includes grading, removing certain building structures to install a patio cover over an existing dining area, at the City’s Municipal Airport Building all as shown on the plans and/or as specified herein.
Contractor shall submit plans to obtain a city building fire sprinkler permit ten (10) working days from the issuance of a Notice to Proceed. As provided in the Contract Documents, Contractor shall pay to the City the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), for each and every working days’ delay in submitting the plans for a building fire sprinkler permit, beyond the ten (10) working days from the Notice to Proceed.
Once a building fire sprinkler permit is issued, Contactor shall have Sixty (60) working days to complete the installation of the patio cove. Contractor shall pay to the City the sum of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00), for each and every working days’ delay in completion of the work beyond the Sixty (60) working days from the building fire sprinkler permit being issued.
Contractor shall insure that all work does not interfere with the current operations of the existing building.
