Each of the projects will rehabilitate the existing roadways without change in capacity. Pavement rehabilitation improvements of each roadway will be based on recommendations of a pavement evaluation/analysis report. Additionally, the projects will include the replacement of isolated segments of curb, gutter and sidewalk required for construction of ADA compliant curb ramps for existing non-compliant and missing ramps. Existing drainage patterns and opportunities for improvement must be considered as part of the design process. The design will include a review of existing striping and signage to determine compliance with the most recent version of the CA MUTCD. Upgrades and revisions to signage and striping as applicable, including the potential addition of striped bike lanes in accordance with the city’s 2018 Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan, will be included in the design.
